During my term at Venturous Counselling + Consulting, I pioneered a sophisticated online presence and digital marketing strategy for Vancouver based board of clinical directors. Setting a foundation for their Liberatory mental health community, these posts are sure to
soothe modern intrigue.
As the key point of contact with brand CEOs, practitioners, and content partners, I spearheaded the development of end-to-end web content, advised current industry trends, led brainstorming sessions, provided feedback to teams and experimented on theories to
turn social wins into best practices.
Liaised with diverse community agencies to serve as client advocate and provide continuity of care, assisting in development of products and services previously unrepresented in the social assistance and healthcare industry to
increase shares in new markets by 21%.









Through the emphasis of organic design themes, we believe in creating harmony between people and nature.
When you pair warm muted earthy tones with a structured sans serif font, you get a refreshed visual identity that is unique to the way we approach collective healing in the digital age.
In addition to our signature style, I created a mix of editorial forward campaigns to lean into an aesthetic usability effect.
It wasn't just about look and feel though, the fundamental function of the content I produced relied on the writing. Being intentional about the language we used was extremely important.
Inclusive social framing and relevant topics were the cornerstone of our brand. I wanted viewers at all levels of knowledge and expertise to feel welcomed.
If I have learned anything about marketing over the years, it is that nothing is coincidence.
Whether or not the untrained eye catches onto a marketer’s trick of the trade, we understand that even the smallest of details are crafted with intention. Rather, what meets the consumer’s eye is often a sense of colour psychology. One of my favourite parts of design is the synergy of hue. You’ll see it in just about anything I create from fast action concert photography, to upscale education based social content. The role that colour plays in our lives is entirely fundamental to the way we communicate ideas and trigger emotions in the absence of words.
FOR VENTUROUS, IT WAS ABOUT BLAZING INTO A WELL TRAVELED INDUSTRY WITH AN UNTRAVELED APPROACH.
With the vehicle of muted warm tones, this is what I aim to convey through our hand selected palette:
GREEN:
Life and nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, and balance. It relaxes, revitalizes, rejuvenates and promotes growth. Wellness, health and beauty brands often use it in their packaging design, and it is also widely used in renewable energy, education and environmental industries.
BLUE:
Trustworthy and loyal, this colour is often associated with wisdom, confidence and stability.
YELLOW:
Joy, intellect, energy, spontaneity and enthusiasm. It is used to stimulate and energize, but also to encourage positive energy release, especially when used in wellness and leisure industries.
BROWN:
Associated with comfort, honesty, stability and nature. It creates a sense of warmth and connection in a calm and comforting way.
BLACK:
Discipline, authority, elegance. Black is rarely used on its own in branding. It can be associated and interpreted very differently, depending on the colours you decide to pair it with.
